Toyota bB 1.3 (A)
I have always been in love with the looks of the Toyota bB, so acquiring one is a dream come true. The dealer I got the car from – gave me an absolutely unbeatable price for the car, one that I couldn’t refuse.
I’ve been driving it for more than one month, and have already clocked approximately 720km. I love each and every moment spent with the car – particularly the spaciousness and ease of taking my family out for trips. Once, I had to take four other adults – who are relatively above average in size – and one child, but the roominess in the car made it a pleasant journey from Yishun to Bukit Timah (which was more than 40 minutes of drive). My grandparents could also easily get in and out of the car because of the 80-degrees opening door, and the height of the car – yes, most of my family members can literally “walk-into” the car.
On another trip, we purchased four tall pots (about 1-metre tall each) of orchids, and we manage to transport all without them bending over.
One downside though – its body-roll is relatively obvious when doing fast and sharp cornering.
But still, I will recommend this car. If you are looking for a car that is (a) simply different (that really says you), (b) comfortable and spacious for the family, (c) easy to drive and (d) fuel-efficient (I’m clocking an average of 13 to 15km/l and this is before the first run-in), go for it.
